Made for Life

ORGANIC SUPPORT FOR ANYONE GOING THROUGH THE CANCER JOURNEY

The Made For Life Foundation (registered charity 1138846) was founded by Made For Life Organics MD Amanda Winwood (formerly Barlow) in 2008 and supports those diagnosed with and recovering from cancer and those who are supporting them on that difficult journey. The ethos is that as a company, we at Made for Life Organics believe in giving back. Our organic skincare is often beneficial to those going through cancer, and we are passionate about supporting people going through this.

The Made for Life Foundation organises days filled with holistic complementary treatments, organic makeovers, nutritional advice, art therapy, meditation and relaxation techniques along with time for sharing and hugs.

Made For Life Foundation Days and Treatments

Having been diagnosed with cancer; the patient, their close family and or carers will quickly understand that receiving such a diagnosis can be a traumatic and life-changing event. On hearing the news, people often report feeling sick, disorientated, very sad, angry, frustrated, scared, lost, isolated, in need of support and often unsure of what to do for the best. The Made for Life Foundation is our way of offering practical and emotional support to those going through that experience.

To date, over 10,000 people across the UK have attended Made for Life days.

OPENING SPA DOORS TO THOSE GOING THROUGH CANCER  -- CANCER TOUCH THERAPY

An important part of our work for the Made For Life Foundation is our fully accredited 3 day Cancer Touch Therapy training course. Many spas cannot offer treatments to anyone who has been diagnosed with cancer, because insurance issues prevent them from doing so. Our CMA accredited course means that insurance cover can be provided to spas so therapists can offer our holistic therapies to those who have been diagnosed with the condition.
